What to expect from DigitaliQ

digitaliq

There are now only five weeks to go until the first ever Digital iQ event in Norwich. Tickets have almost sold out and we are really excited to be putting on a great event for all those who attend on March 3rd. Norwich is an exciting place to be for digital marketers, with agencies, brands and not-for-profits going from strength to strength.

As someone who is fairly new to Norwich but has previously lived in Bristol and worked in Brighton, I can see similar characteristics with these cities – full of character, creative minds, music and in close proximity to the great outdoors. I can only see good times ahead for this ‘fine city’ and I look forward to being part of the development of digital marketing here too.

With Digital iQ being a free event we are likely to oversubscribe to ensure we account for non-attenders. Nearer the time we will be sending out an email asking people to provide us with their firmest ‘yes’ or ‘no’ so we would really appreciate if you could respond. It’s going to be a great opportunity to meet like-minded people in online marketing as well as local entrepreneurs so please do your best to attend if you have a ticket.

We have 6 great speakers covering a range of topics including SEO, Content Marketing, PR and Video marketing. In addition, we will be carrying out an interview with Ben Phillips, founder and CTO of Thread.com, who have recently secured another round of funding (£4 million) to develop their business further. They now have over 500,000 customers and he has a great story to tell. We want Digital iQ to be as much about great start up stories as learning more about online marketing.

You can find out more about our speakers here: http://digitaliq.net/speakers/ and we will soon be releasing the full conference schedule. The order of the day will be as much about presentations and interviews as it will be about networking and drinks.

We will be starting promptly at 1 pm and will run through to 4:30/5 pm with a short 15 minute interval half way through. After which there will be 1-1.5 hours of networking with a licensed bar and music.

For those who want to socialise thereafter, we will be putting on an after party at a local venue TBC from 6pm -9pm.

We look forward to seeing you there and if you have any questions in the meantime please feel free to get in touch.
